Athens more elegant than ever!
Athens, 18.07.2007 - The name, the logo, and the brand names of Golden Hall, the new upscale commercial center of modern aesthetic and architectural design, developed by LAMDA Development was revealed today for the first time to public. The event took place at Grande Bretagne hotel.
Under the presence of ministers, representatives of the Greek and international commerce, businessmen and journalists and other participants, the company announced the name, the logo, as well as the 74 renowned brand names for which commercial agreements have already been signed with Golden Hall. Today, almost 16 months before the beginning of operation, LAMDA Development has already signed commercial agreements for 65% of the Golden Hall, while by taking into account the agreed commercial agreements that will be signed the next days, the above percentage exceeds 85%.
The guests of LAMDA Development had the opportunity to virtually sightsee the Center and take a first glance of its final shape by using 3D technology, while at the same time they were watching the representatives of important commercial companies talking about their decision to be a part of the innovative, for the Greek standards, commercial proposal of LAMDA Development.
Golden Hall which is developed at the former International Broadcasting Center, in Maroussi, is expected to begin operations in autumn 2008 with 150 luxurious shops and to attract even the most demanding visitors by hosting famous international fashion brand names, well-known products that appear for the first time in Greece, as well as established Greek brand names both in the Greek market and abroad.
Golden Hall is developed in 3 levels, in aprox. 40.000m2 (Gross Leasable Area). It will offer underground parking of almost 1.400 parking spaces in two levels, and also office space in approximately 4.500m2. Among the 150 shops that will be hosted, the list includes shops for female, male and childrens fashion and footwear, accessorize, jewelries, selected restaurants and coffee shops, bookshop, home and decoration equipment shops, athletic equipment, delicatessen, cosmetics, hairdressers, beauty salon etc.

Todays event was welcomed by the Minister of Development Mr. Dimitris Sioufas. Golden Hall was presented to the public by Mr. Apostolos Tamvakakis, Chairman and CEO of LAMDA Development, and greetings were addressed by Mr. Christos Hadjiemmanouil, President of Olympic Properties S.A., Nikos Xethalis, General Manager of ECE LAMDA Hellas and also by the most important tenants of the Center and representatives of the most well known brands, Mr. Konstantinos Labropoulos, CEO of Attica Department stores, Fragiskos Lemonis, Vice President of Lemonis Group of Companies, Nikos Gavalakis, General Manager of Notos Galleries Home, Evangelia Pagoni Vice President of Gruppo Pagoni Group.
