LAMDA Development attended a retail Real Estate exhibition of international prestige
LAMDA Development Group, the Greek representation in the MAPIC exhibition in Cannes
The LAMDA Development Group, which acts via its subsidiary LAMDA Estate Development in real estate Project Management, Construction Management, and Project Development, as well as in the provision of associated services, successfully attended for a second consecutive year the international exhibition of Real Estate professional retailers, held in Palais des Festivals, Cannes, between November 20th 22nd 2002.
LAMDA Development was the only Greek representative in the MAPIC exhibition. Its elegant kiosk welcomed many visitors, who had the opportunity to exchange views with executives from the Groups subsidiaries, as well as to enjoy a virtual tour in the models of the most significant projects that are under development by LAMDA Development at the moment.
More specifically it was the Media Village for the 2004 Olympic games in Maroussi and the Shopping and Leisure Center of Pylaia in Thessalonica that were projected in the kiosk. Both are big private projects, offering design and construction models in the area of South Eastern Europe, that satisfy the highest quality criteria.
The Olympic Media Village in Maroussi, which will host numerous reporters during the games, is the most important private project of real estate development in Greece extended in an area of approximately 62.5 acres.
The Shopping and Leisure Center of Pylaia is the first project of its kind developed in Greece since it offers a unique combination of commercial, leisure and cultural activities. The Center that will be of spectacular architectural design with shopping and leisure facilities will be developed in an area of approximately 62.5 acres.
In MAPIC Exhibition, LAMDAs Development executives had one -to-one meetings with investors from Europe, Asia, and America with major discussion subject the potential partnerships for the development of new projects as well as the maintenance of projects that are already under construction.
The 8th International exhibition MAPIC (Marche International de l Implantation Commerciale et de la Distribution) was this years most important meeting for the professionals of the retail real estate sector; more than 6,000 members from 70 countries attended the exhibition. MAPIC was founded in 1995 in order to supplement the annual exhibition MIPIM (Marche International des Professionnels de l Immobilier) regarding the wider sector of real estate - held in Cannes every March since 1990.
MAPIC was an opportunity for LAMDA Development to prove that it is the leader at the development of infrastructures in Greece and abroad.
