Powerful group of companies seeks market share in construction and management of new Greek motorways

The companies DRAGADOS Concesiones, PHILIPP HOLZMANN GMBB, BILFINGER + BERGER SA, AEGEK ATE, ATHINA ATE, EVKLEIDIS SA and LAMDA Development have announced their intention of seeking the contract for the design, construction, management and operation for profit of some of the country’s new motorways.

The cooperation of the Greek companies LAMDA Development, AEGEK ATE, ATHINA ATE and EVKLEIDIS SA with DRAGADOS Concesiones, PHILIPP HOLZMANN and BILFINGER + BERGER SA – three of the world’s largest and most experienced companies in motorway construction and management – gives the consortium an excellent chance of success,

The basic objective of the companies AEGEK ATE, ATHINA ATE and EVKLEIDIS SA in the project in question is involvement in the construction of the motorways.

LAMDA Development, on the other hand, which has no construction arm, is more interested in utilising its experience in project management to develop and manage the motorway service centres in the future project, and also to branch out into the management of big projects (design, construction, management and operation for profit), where it has the experience and know-how necessary to succeed.
